Holiday chalet refurbished

Our chairman is impressed!

We have a comfortable self catering chalet situated on the cliff top at the Hoburne Holiday Village in Hampshire. There are lots of facilities on site, such as an indoor and outdoor (if brave enough) swimming pool, tennis courts and a childrens play area.  There is also a restaurant, snack bar, two bars and a snooker room so plenty for the family to enjoy.

The chalet has recently been fully refurbished. Here's what chairman Rose Tocock has to say about it in the August/September newsletter:

Wow! What a transformation! If you have already booked a week, then you are in for a real treat. We have gone from Hi di Hi to La di Da in a matter of weeks. The chalet now has a fantastic wet room. Both bedrooms now have twin beds and new wardrobes. The kitchen has been totally refitted with built in cupboards, cooker and hob. There is also a new fridge freezer. We have new lounge and dining furniture, new carpets and curtains and the whole chalet has been redecorated. We have even replaced all the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Boy, did we have a great time shopping? Many thanks to all (you know who you are) who helped in whatever way.

It may surprise you to learn that we rely entirely on volunteers to run our Branch activities. New volunteers are always welcomed and these are just some of the ways you could get involved. It needn't be a huge commitment even a small amount of your time would be valued. Perhaps you could:

sell raffle tickets, publicise an event, bake a cake, make tea at a social event.

If you have a little more time to spare maybe you'd like to:

drive one of our minibuses, look after our website, help organise fundraising events, visit someone with MS.

If you have a young person in your family who is taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, they might like to help us as part of their charitable work.
